MANILA - "I'll be back soon."
This was the message given by "It's Showtime" mainstay Kim Atienza to his co-hosts and the "madlang people" on Saturday.
Atienza, who is now recovering from a rare disorder that saw him hospitalized for a week, was visited by ABS-CBN News entertainment reporter Gretchen Fullido in his house in Malate, Manila.
"Okay na 'ko. Siguro nasa mga 99 percent well na ako. Pagkatapos ng ilang araw, handa na ko, pupunta na naman ako diyan sa 'Showtime' at makakasama ko na ang 'Showtime' family ko," Atienza said.
The "TV Patrol" weatherman was not able to join Vice Ganda in their planned joint number for the "Magpasikat Week," an annual tradition on "It's Showtime."
The ABS-CBN noontime program is currently celebrating its fourth anniversary.
When asked for a message, Atienza said, "Guys, I'm so proud of the show dahil ang gagaling niyo talaga... I'm so proud to be a part of this family."
