Bea Alonzo said that working with Dingdong Dantes on She’s the One has taught her essential lessons when it comes to her craft. “Humbling for me na makatrabaho siya because nga he’s here for the longest time, longer than nandito ako sa business na ‘to and you could sense na hindi nga dinadala sa ulo niya. Alam mo na alam niya na this is temporary, this is not forever, na he tries to improve himself all the time, ‘yon ‘yung natutunan ko sa kanya na huwag paparatingin sa ulo and everyday nagpro-promise ka sa sarili mo na i-improve mo ‘yung sarili mo,” she said.
On her favorite scene with Dingdong in the movie and the scene that she’s most proud of, Bea shared that it would be the ice cream scene. “’Yung favorite ko ‘yung ice cream scene because sa maliit na eksena ‘yun, hindi namin kailangan mag flashback and it’s because ang dami niyang sinabi and it’s not something na siguro na ii-expect mo na maraming nasasabi. It’s not a dramatic scene, it’s very light, its very simple pero parang siguro sa dalawang artista na magkukuwento sa kanilang actions and how they stare at each other, siguro mahirap siya because papano mo sasabihin sa audience mo na mahal na mahal mong taong ito without telling him that you love him, sa actions lang so ‘yun siguro, ‘yun ‘yung proud ako.”
Bea admitted that she could somewhat relate to her character in She’s the One when it comes to being the breadwinner of the family. “Malapit siguro ‘yung character ko sa akin, unang-una ‘yun bang part na she lost her youth parang ganon din ako kasi I have to work early. Pangalawa siguro ‘yung pagiging independent,” she stated.
Is she feeling any pressure now? “Sobra, every time na ipro-promote ko ‘to. But siguro ‘yung pressure mas lamang ‘yung excitement.
