Jasmine Curtis-Smith talks about Sam Concepcion

MANILA – Actress Jasmine Curtis-Smith may have a “hectic schedule” but she is not complaining about it. In an interview with ABS-CBN News on Sunday, the younger sister of Anne Curtis said she is determined to finish her studies while pursuing her showbiz career at the same time. “Iba rin kapag may education. I’m so thankful to be working and be signed for so many different contracts. But without knowledge and without education, there’s that risk of stopping abruptly tapos wala kang mapupuntahan. So I’d like to have that nourishment sabay with work,” she said. The 19-year-old actress is currently taking up AB Communication at the Ateneo de Manila University. Jasmine said she is fortunate that her family, especially her sister, supports her decision to go to school and work concurrently. “Si Ate, she’s letting me handle it myself… She’s entrusting me with that responsibility of my own time management para matuto ako and I won’t blame it on anyone else,” she explained. She added: “She lets me do whatever I want. Hinahayaan lang niya ako gawin kung anong gusto ko. I open up to Ate about everything and anything.” Special friend Meanwhile, Jasmine let loose a bit about her alleged relationship with Kapamilya singer Sam Concepcion. “Hindi naman sa ayaw ko pag-usapan. Sam is a very special friend,” she said briefly. Jasmine said Concepcion has already met her sister and they have had dinners in the past. Asked if there is any advice that Anne told her, Jasmine said: “Advice ni Ate na ‘You know, if you’re going to get involved, always leave room for yourself to rest and admire yourself naman for at least a few seconds.’” She, however, noted that Anne considers Concepcion as a very nice, hardworking and talented person.
