MANILA – Celebrity couple Raymart Santiago and Claudine Barretto celebrated their birthdays apart amid their continued estrangement following the actor’s decision to leave their conjugal home.
In her official Instagram account on Saturday, Barretto posted several photos during her “birthday salubong” which she celebrated along with children Santino and Sabina.
She also posted a picture of Sabina making a steak for her prior to the event.
The actress also took the opportunity to thank her supporters who gave her gifts and greeted her.
“To all Claudinians thank u for all d gifts, cards, letters & for baking these cakes for Sab & Saint & I. Maraming salamat po sa lahat ng prayers, walang sawang support at pagmamahal nyo po sa akin & sa mga anak ko,” she said.
She added: “Thank u at pinaganda nyo ang bdays nina Sabina, Santino lalo na po yung sa akin, lalo ngayon sa pinag dadaanan namin ngayon u all have been so supportive & inspiring.maraming maraming salamat po! I luv u all very much!”
On the other hand, entertainment website Pep.ph reported that Santiago celebrated his birthday at a restaurant on the same day.
Both stars were born on July 20.
It has been almost a month since Barretto’s mom revealed that Santiago is no longer living with her daughter and grandchildren.
Reports said the actor was also a no-show at Sabina’s birthday held earlier this month.
