MANILA, Philippines -- Vice Ganda became emotional as he opened the second anniversary episode of his weekly show "Gandang Gabi Vice" on Sunday.
The comedian-host recalled that the show was supposed to run for 13 weeks only and became teary-eyed as he thanked the supporters of the show.
Sunday's episode was the first "GGV" show after Vice Ganda became embroiled in a controversy over a sketch he did during his May 17 concert at the Araneta Coliseum.
The comedian was heavily criticized for making fun of broadcast journalist Jessica Soho during a sketch about celebrities as bold stars. Vice Ganda has already apologized to Soho. -- "Gandang Gabi Vice," June 2, 2013
