'American Idol' runner-up Jessica Sanchez eager to visit the Philippines?
American Idol Season 11 runner-up Filipina-Mexican Jessica Sanchez – who just met President Aquino in Los Angeles over the weekend – is already “excited” to come over and visit the Philippines, a Palace official revealed yesterday.
“There might be a chance that she might come to the country….and sabi niya sa amin na (and she told us) that she’s excited to come to the Philippines, although she has a very busy schedule now,” presidential spokesman Ricky Carandang told reporters in a chance interview at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport 2 upon Aquino’s arrival yesterday.
“Hindi yata siya makakarating kaagad (She can’t visit right away) but I think she has plans to come to the Philippines sooner or later. She’s very aware that she has many fans here in the Philippines,” the Cabinet member added.

Remains to be seen.
What’s confirmed is that Jessica is coming for the American Idol Live Tour 2012 on Sept. 21 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Will the 11th season winner Phillip Phillips be with the tour? Keep your fingers crossed. By then, hopefully he should be recovered from a planned kidney surgery.
The Big Dome show is confirmed to Funfare by Renen de Guia of Ovation Productions which also handled the 2011 American Idol Live Tour.
